SAP Digital Manufacturing training teaches you to run and integrate manufacturing execution on SAP. You cover the Digital Manufacturing cloud architecture and its relationship to S/4HANA, plant and resource modelling, shop floor routings and BOM synchronisation, production operator dashboard design, work instructions and data collection, non-conformance and defect handling, machine connectivity through Plant Connectivity and OPC UA, SAP MII for legacy and hybrid landscapes, production performance and OEE analytics, and the order and confirmation integration back into ERP.

Prerequisite: SAP PP experience is important. Manufacturing execution, automation or OT experience is a strong advantage.

Connectivity and integration
Configure a machine data connection to generate automatic confirmations, then trace the confirmation and goods movement into S/4HANA and handle an integration failure.
Certification and hands-on
Every session runs in a live SAP practice system, so you configure and test rather than watch. SAP delivers Digital Manufacturing certification through its product learning journeys rather than a long-standing C_ series exam. We prepare you against the current SAP Digital Manufacturing learning path and note the S/4HANA manufacturing exam as an adjacent credential. The course finishes with an IT Canvass certificate plus a learning roadmap. IT Canvass does not issue the official SAP credential.
SAP certification is role-based and delivered through SAP Learning. Most exams sit at Associate level (implementation or development consultant for a specific solution), with Specialist exams for narrower scopes and Professional exams for architects and experienced consultants. Exams are booked through SAP Certification Hub or as a single exam; SAP re-versions exams with each release, so always confirm the current code before booking.
