- Create the application and pick the connector type
- Configure and test the connection first
- Define account/group schema and identity attribute
- Correlate then aggregate and verify results
1. Add the application
Under Applications, create a new application and choose the connector type (AD, JDBC, delimited, REST, etc.) that matches the target system.
2. Configure connection
Enter the connection settings and credentials, then test the connection so you know IdentityIQ can reach the system before going further.
3. Define the schema
Map the account (and group) schema so IdentityIQ reads the right attributes, including the identity attribute used for correlation.
4. Correlate and aggregate
Set correlation to match accounts to identities, then run an account aggregation and confirm accounts land on the right identities.
