Quick answer

Step-by-step: run account and group aggregation in SailPoint IdentityIQ and verify the results.

Key takeaways
  • Use an Account Aggregation task per application
  • Set options: detect deletes, refresh, promote attributes
  • Run and read the result counts and errors
  • Verify correlation and check uncorrelated accounts

1. Choose the aggregation

Create or open an Account Aggregation task and select the application(s) to aggregate. Group aggregation is a separate task for entitlement objects.

2. Options

Decide whether to detect deletes, refresh correlated identities, and promote managed attributes, based on what the run needs to achieve.

3. Run and monitor

Run the task and watch the result for counts of created, updated and deleted accounts, plus any errors or connector warnings.

4. Verify

Spot-check identities to confirm accounts and entitlements are present and correlated, and review uncorrelated accounts.
